Some of these settings are database-wide while others are user-specific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Database Region Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Settings<\/strong> in the Main Menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Region<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Time Offset<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span>The <strong>Time Offset<\/strong> specifies the default time zone for the database. The Time Zone selected here will be applied to the logging of events such as the time when a candidate registered or applied via the job board.<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If not all users are located in the same Time Zone, a per-user time zone setting is available in the &#8216;International&#8217; section of the User Record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Phone Formatting:<\/strong> Choose whether to format Phone fields in US\/Canada format <em>(xxx) xxx-xxxx<\/em>, or a freeform International Format. If set to &#8216;Follow Currency Setting&#8217;, the phone field will match the format for the selection Currency type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>International Currency:<\/strong> Define the default currency used for salary and other monetary values in the database.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time Display Option:<\/strong> Define whether a 12 or 24 hour value should be used for time storage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Allow Users to Edit Candidate Email Subscriptions:<\/strong> Allows users to edit the <a href=\"https:\/\/learnsuite.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/docs\/database-config\/email-opt-outopt-in\/\">Opt Out\/Opt In<\/a> list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Use Most Restrictive Blocking:<\/strong> Email recipients must <a href=\"https:\/\/learnsuite.pcrecruiter.net\/site\/docs\/database-config\/email-opt-outopt-in\/\">Opt In<\/a> to receive emails.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Default Radius Search:<\/strong> Defines whether postal code radius searching should be handled in Miles or Kilometers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Default Radius Country<\/strong> \u2014 Select which country database the postal radius code search should use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">User Region Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Settings<\/strong> in the Main Menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Users<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Manage Users<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>User Name<\/strong> that you wish to edit. This will open the user&#8217;s record in a new tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>International<\/strong> from the menu on the left.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The International Settings allow you to appropriately setup the specific user account based on their particular location. Some of these options are only relevant when using a phone integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Country Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Country Code<br>Click the popup selector to the right of the field to specify the dialing prefix for your location. The &#8220;Add country code when saving\/searching unknown phone numbers&#8221; checkbox causes this prefix to be automatically included during many processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Default Currency<br>The system will assume $\/USD if not otherwise directed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Direct Dial<br>Specifies the code to dial before making an international call (e.g. 011)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Direct Dial<br>Specifies the code to dial when making an in-country call (e.g. 1)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Default Area Code<br>Specifies an Area Code to assume when none is otherwise given.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paper Size (In Pixels)<br>In some situations, the system generates pages that are made to be printed.
