The new \u201cTEL Tag\u201d will allow almost any phone system to dial using the Phone Icon to the right of any phone number in a PCRecruiter Phone field.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set the Default Phone Application<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Windows<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select Start<\/strong> from the bottom left corner of your machine<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Begin typing \u201cDefault Protocol\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select Choose a default app for each protocol<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Scroll down to TEL<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Click Choose a Default<\/strong> directly to the right<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Select the phone<\/strong> you would like to use (such as skype)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Close<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Open Facetime<\/strong> application<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click FaceTime<\/strong> in the top left menu<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click preferences<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. At the bottom of the preferences menu, use the drop down to select the default calling application<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Enable the .TEL protocol<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      To enable the .TEL protocol you must be logged in as a user with full admin security settings.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to Settings<\/strong><\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Select Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Select Manage Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Select the username<\/strong> you wish to enable it for<\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Click the gear icon<\/strong> next to the Contact Phone field.<\/span>

      6. Click the Hyperlink<\/strong> tile on the left<\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. Toggle it on<\/strong> and click Save<\/strong><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

        1. Return to the main PCR page and click on the User Logo<\/strong> in the bottom left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. From the action menu select User Preferences<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Ensure dial using dropdown is set to Hyperlink<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Click Save & Close.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
